Every Day Counts

When your life has been touched by a disease like leukaemia, you quickly grow to realise the importance of every day.

One of our core activities at the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation is to be there for patients diagnosed with leukaemia or blood cancers, as well as provide much-needed help for their families.

But those Patient Support Services cost us $1,000 a day, and the need for them has outgrown our ability to fund them. Our Support Services Co-ordinators now deal with 700 requests for help each month, a rise of 33% on last year.

With Every Day Counts, our latest fundraising programme, our aim is to find the money required to carry on providing that vital support, the whole year around.

We are offering supporters the opportunity to buy and name a date on the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation's calendar that means something to them. For a donation of $1,000 per day we will record their choice on an online calendar on this website, which is due to go live in the coming weeks.

The day may mark diagnosis, a treatment landmark, remembrance, anything significant to our supporters.
