After 360 km’s and 66 hours of running Malcolm Law has accomplished the 7 in 7 Challenge.

Malcolm says: “I cannot begin to describe how elated I feel.” He says it was “the best seven days of my life.”

In the 7 in 7 Challenge, Malcolm ran New Zealand's seven Great Walks in seven days; the equivalent of 9 marathons in 7 consecutive days. Watch interview 1 and interview 2.

On 29 November, Malcolm Law began the audacious Mizone 7 in 7 Challenge with a goal to raise $50,000 for the LBF. He has now doubled his target with the hope to raise $100,000. Help Malcolm reach his ambitious fundraising target!

The LBF is overwhelmed by Law’s dedication to the cause and urges New Zealand to get behind it. To support Malcolm, please visit www.7in7.org.nz.

Malcolm took a one year sabbatical, devoting 2009 to completing a personal mission of raising enough money to truly make a difference to the patients and families living leukaemia or a related with blood cancer or condition.

Malcolm, who lost his older brother Alan in 1969 to leukaemia, says: “Ever since Alan died I have cherished the idea of doing something amazing to help other families whose lives are affected by this cruel disease.”

Pru Etcheverry, LBF executive director, says: “We are very humbled by Malcolm’s dedication and determination to raise awareness. With six children and adults diagnosed each day with leukaemia or a related blood condition, that support has never been more vital.”

All funds generated by the Mizone 7 in 7 Challenge will go to the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation’s Patient Support Service.
