Picture books for children
These are two picture books written specifically for children who have been diagnosed with a blood cancer. Joe has Leukaemia & Tom has Lymphoma have been adapted from similar resources in Great Britain and are a first in New Zealand. Although designed for children with blood cancers, they may also be useful for children who have a family member recently diagnosed with acute leukaemia or lymphoma, as they describe the processes of diagnosis and treatment.

Blood Cancers and Conditions – a guide for patients and families
This range of bilingual booklets were created to provide information for patients and their families who speak languages other than English. The booklet has English information on one page and the same content in the translated language on the opposing page. The booklet provides a general overview of the more common blood cancers and conditions, as well as information about treatments for these diseases.
