Bell Gully Summer Clerks
On Friday 29 January, participants of the Bell Gully summer clerk programme volunteered their time to support the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation (LBF).
The students were in Auckland and Wellington to help LBF patients and their families with gardening, cleaning, painting and other tasks around the home. They also helped tremendously by distributing marketing materials for an upcoming LBF event.
Bell Gully is committed to supporting the community. This is the third year that Bell Gully has dedicated a day within the summer clerk programme for the students to volunteer their services to the LBF and to patients and their families living with blood cancers and conditions.
Bell Gully is a large New Zealand law firm with offices in Auckland and Wellington. They are an official sponsor partner of the LBF. Each year Bell Gully runs a summer clerk programme for law students who are soon to graduate from universities around New Zealand, annually they receive hundreds of applications and have fewer than 35 places available.
The successful applicants are offered the chance to work as summer clerks at Bell Gully for three months over the summer.
