Shave for a Cure is back and off to a great start with shavees and sponsors teaming up to raise awareness about leukaemia and related blood conditions.

Let’s smash last year’s record!
We had a successful 2008 with more than 1,500 people shaving their hair. But is that really enough? Help us crush last year’s record by getting 10,000 people shaving – that’s one shavee for every person living with blood cancers in New Zealand today.

And if you need any more incentive, New Zealand street fashion label, Huffer has for the second time designed a limited edition t-shirt in support of Shave 09. Raise $500 or more for Shave 09 and receive a free Huffer t-shirt.

Let’s face it some of us and our friends could really do with a new ‘do.’ There’s no shortage of bad haircuts out there. Check out our commercial and the fun ‘Do The World A Favour’ advertising campaign which hopes to banish dodgy ‘dos’, mullets and comb over’s all in the name of a good cause.
