Lunch for Leukaemia

105Lunch-logo Lunch for Leukaemia is a simple and fun way to raise money to support people with leukaemia.

Anyone can join in, and you can hold your lunch any time, but many people choose to plan it for November so they can support Leukaemia Appeal Week.

Just get a group together, either at work or socially, and come up with some fun ideas for your lunch event and donate the money you raise to the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation.


Menu of lunch ideas

* Have a themed lunch
* Fire up the BBQ
* Auction the opportunity for the boss to take you to lunch
* Enjoy a shared lunch
* Host the longest, or the loudest, lunch
* Have a formal lunch at the office
* Bring a dish and share your recipe with the group

You could even encourage your local café or restaurant to provide a venue for your event.

Or … go 'a la carte' and come up with your own plan!

There are lots of ways to raise dollars:

* Sell tickets
* Ask for a donation
* Donate what you'd normally spend buying lunch
* Cook lunch for the boss and get him/her to pay!

To register, simply email lbf@leukaemia.org.nz. Please include all of your contact details and tell us when, and where, you are going to have your Lunch for Leukaemia.

The LBF will send you a lunch kit with supporting materials for your event, and details about what to do with the money you raise.
