Run your own event

Everyone can make a difference

Holding your own community fundraising event or activity is a fun and rewarding way to support patients and families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.

Your fundraising activity can be as simple or elaborate as you like - you are only limited by your imagination (and some important guidelines that we will provide!).

The impact that your event will have upon the lives of patients and families, and your local community, makes fundraising for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation an unforgettable experience.

Our aim is to engage local communities and motivated individuals in our Mission to Care and Vision to Cure, so we will provide you with the guidelines, the support and the expertise to ensure that your event is not only successful, but as simple as possible to organise!

So far, the events dreamt up by our enterprising LBF supporters have included: Wig Night Out (a dance party with wigs...), and the Auckland Grammar School 1000 miler, where 89 students completed a sponsored relay run of more than 1000 miles in 100 hours.

Together we can make a difference.

We need your help so please contact us for further information about community fundraising by calling 0800 15 10 15, or email info@leukaemia.org.nz.
