Grants

The LBF is committed to increasing the understanding about leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions and is the only dedicated funder of haematology research.

Annually, we contribute funding to health professionals, including scientists, clinicians, doctors, nurses, laboratory staff, support workers and counsellors to attend local and international meetings, keep up to date with the latest advancements and conduct vital research.

We have now provided more than $2.0 million to the field of research.  To learn more, click here.

The responsibility for the allocation of the funding to the various grants is overseen by the LBF's Medical and Scientific Committee (an independent committee of researchers and medical professionals).

The LBF is grateful to the members of the Medical and Scientific Committee who bring a wide range of disciplines and expertise to carefully and independently review the many grant applications. Haematology is one area of medicine that has witnessed dramatic advances in treatment thanks to research investment.
