The LBF is committed to increasing the understanding about leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.

Annually, we annually contribute funding to health professionals engaged in clinical and scientific research in the field of haematology.

To date, we have provided more than $2.0 million to research.

The responsibility for the allocation of the funding to the various grants is overseen by the LBF's Medical and Scientific Committee (an independent committee of researchers, health professionals and lay people).

The LBF is grateful to the members of the Medical and Scientific Committee who bring a wide range of disciplines and expertise to carefully and independently review the many grant applications. Haematology is one area of medicine that has witnessed dramatic advances in treatment thanks to research investment.
