Information Sheet for Cancer Patients, Whanau/Families and Carers on COVID-19

1 April 2020 -

A new patient and carer information sheet on the COVID-19 interim guidance for haematology and oncology is now available for both Australia and New Zealand.

The ALLG, with help from the Cancer Council of Australia, the Cancer Society of New Zealand, Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand, the ALLG Consumer Representative Panel and several clinician co-authors, has produced this companion guide to new clinical guidance on COVID-19 (Medical Journal of Australia, 20 March 2020) for people living with cancer, their families/whānau and carers.

This companion guide summarises the key points from the publication and provides details where patients and those close to them can access support programs and resources from national and state/territory governments as well as cancer charities.

Please note that the guidance will be updated regularly over the coming weeks and months, and the ALLG will update its supporting materials and notices accordingly.
