With the latest changes in alert levels with Auckland at level 2 and observing tighter restrictions than the rest of the country who are now at level1, we would like to let you know what this means for our patient support services.
All of New Zealand with the exception of Auckland: we continue to hold all our services face to face, including all our support groups. We will be ensuring all health and safety measures are in place at all times. We ask our patients and families to check with their health care team if they have any concerns around contact with others.
Auckland and surrounding regions: with our focus on the safety and wellbeing of our patients and families, we will continue to observe extra precautions with no face to face contact for the time being. This means that all our patient contact will be via phone, email and Zoom. Our team of Support Services Coordinators will continue to be there to provide support as you need it, and voucher support will continue to run as normal. We hope to update you again in the very near future with a lifting of these restrictions.
If you have any questions, please contact your local Support Services Coordinator on 0800 15 10 15.
Up-to-date information about cancer and COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) is available on the Ministry of Health’s website.
We would also like to remind you of our Winter-Spring Webinar Series. This is in place of our Patient Forum this year and is a series of weekly Friday lunchtime webinars on disease specific and survivorship topics. Please see HERE for the Programme and to register.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
