Farmers Santa Parades
Christmas came early for the LBF this year as the Farmers Santa Parade in Auckland and Hamilton raised a very merry $8,100.
Both parades were absolutely spectacular and both cities were packed with families eager to enjoy the festivities and sunshine.
LBF staff, volunteers and patients were out in force, many dressed as clowns, collecting to raise money for our support services.
Pru Etcheverry, Executive Director of the LBF, said: “We were absolutely thrilled with the turn out and the amount of money raised. So many people on the parade routes got to learn about us and the work that we do. The atmosphere was electric and a fun day was had by all. We are so appreciative to Farmers for choosing us as their main charity and to all the people who came out to collect for us and those who donated to such a great cause.”
