Schools

Make a difference

Here are just a few ideas about how your school can help... If you fancy taking part in one of these activities, speak to your friends and teachers and make sure they get involved. We would love to hear about any fundraising events you are planning, just email lbf@leukaemia.org.nz, and don't forget to take photos!

Get searching
Start looking for lost coins, they are usually found lurking in dark, dingy places; down the back of the couch, hidden in a drawer, or in the car. Every cent counts!

Make a human coin trail
At school, draw a large chalk outline of a human body with a big heart and get everyone to place a silver coin in the outline and a gold coin on the heart.

Hold a mufti day
You know the score. Always a fun way to raise money!

Organise a red letter day
Write a 'red letter' to your parents, asking them to donate the change in their purse or wallet.

Crazy hair day
Run a crazy hair day and charge an entry fee for anyone who would like to take part. Get teachers to vote on the most creative styles.

Run a rogues gallery
Paint pictures of mum, dad, siblings, the family pet, a holiday, or memorable moment and host your very own art exhibition to auction off these priceless pieces.

Lunch for Leukaemia
